The former presidential candidate for the Labour Party, Peter Obi, paid a visit to Peter University, Achina, Anambra State, and the College of Nursing Science, Adazi Nnukwu.
At the College of Nursing Science, he made a donation of 10 million naira. Additionally, at Peter University, Achina, he donated a sum of 50 million naira. He stated that “No nation develops without a healthy and educated workforce.”
He believes that the healthcare and education sectors are crucial for Nigeria’s growth and development. He also extended his gratitude to the management, staff, and students of both Peter University, Achina, and the College of Nursing Science, Adazi Nnukwu.
He further stated that “Building a nation of educated citizens involves contributing to the growth and development of the country.”
He expressed appreciation and thanked the staff and students for their support and contributions to the health and education sectors.
