Boys Without Borders Nigeria (BWB NG), through the generous support of Mr Chidera Anushiem, is delighted to invite submissions for the 2026 Chidera Anushiem Essay Competition.
This undergraduate competition is a cornerstone of BWB NG’s annual campaign for the International Day of the Boy-Child (IDBC). Through this initiative, Boys Without Borders Nigeria aims to foster intellectual engagement on pressing societal issues and empower young men across Nigerian universities.
The topic for this year’s competition is: “Equality Begins at Home: How Family and Upbringing Shape Attitudes Toward Gender.”
The Rewards
First Place: ₦70,000
Second Place: ₦50,000
Third Place: ₦30,000
The top ten finalists will also gain access to exclusive mentorship opportunities and other prestigious awards.
The submission window is open from 4 April to 22 April 2026.
