The highly anticipated Uniben inter-faculty competition, known as five-a-side, is set to commence tomorrow, 26th January 2024, with an intriguing fixture between defending champions Education and Massa for the male category. Meanwhile, for the female category, Education will go up against Engineering. The tournament, initially slated to begin last week, 19th January, was postponed a week further owing to security concerns within Uniben and its environs.

The tournament is set to begin with an elated pre-match opening ceremony that will feature special performances from the Sug Director of Socials, giveaways, cheerleading performance, and a song rendition. The opening ceremony is slated to commence at 2:30 pm at Hall 3 Liberty Stadium, where the opening fixtures will also be played.

Fans and students anticipate the tournament’s intrigues, intensity, excitement, and nerve-cracking moments as it unfolds.
