The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of the University of Benin has issued an urgent appeal to the public to provide financial support for Evans God’s, a 200-level Accounting student currently battling advanced kidney cancer and complications arising from major surgery.
According to a statement released by the SUG Executive Council, Evans underwent surgery in November to remove her right kidney due to the progression of the cancer. Unfortunately, her remaining kidney has also been affected, necessitating a referral from the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) for advanced treatment.
To ensure Evans receives the necessary medical attention, the Union stated that she requires chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and various scans and tests.
Contributions can be made to the following account:
Account Name: Moke Jennifer
Account Number: 9042099458

The SUG emphasized the importance of timely donations, stating: “Every donation, no matter how small, counts. Your timely support will help save Evans’ life.” They also urged the public to share the appeal widely to gather more support.
