The University of Benin has rescheduled the Inaugural Women’s Leadership Conference. This conference which was earlier scheduled to hold on August 6 and 7, 2024 was postponed due to the nationwide protests that held during these dates. This conference will now hold on Monday, August 19 and Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

The Chief Host of this Conference and the Vice Chancellor of University of Benin, Prof. Lilian Salami, invites members of the university community to take advantage of this conference.
The conference with the theme, _Finding your spark, breaking boundaries_, promises to provide participants the opportunity to learn and network with professionals. It brings together a number of experts in academia, industry and government to discuss the latest trends in leadership.

This conference will have Senator Daisy Danjuma, the Executive Chairman of SAPETRO, Lagos, as its Chairperson, The First Lady of Edo State, Dr Betsy Obaseki, as its special guest, The Vice Chancellor of University of Lagos, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, as one of its keynote speakers and The Nigeria’s Director of Dai’s Country, Dr Joe Abah, as one of its keynote speakers.

This conference will hold on August 19 in Akin Deko Auditorium from 9am to 3pm and on August 20 in Senate Chamber, University of Benin.

Members of the university community are encouraged to register for this conference as it will be innovative and insightful.
