A student of the Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Benin, Miss Okweku Favour Valentina has passed away today Friday, June 10, 2022.

This is happening bearly two days after the University reportedly lost 2 of its students from this same Faculty of Life Sciences and Faculty of Engineering to the cold hands of death.

Miss Valentina was until her demise, a 100-level student of the Department of Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) in the University of Benin. The sad news of her dealth was announced today in a memo released by the Publicity officer of the National Association Of Science Laboratory Technology Students, UNIBEN Chapter, Comr. Marvellous Aigbe.

The communique reads:
“It devastate us to announce the untimely death of our dear friend, sister and Coursemate. OKWEKU FAVOUR VALENTINA, a 100l student of SLT who passed away today.

“She will be greatly missed and her loss will be felt by many.

“May her gentle soul rest In perfect peace, “Amen.”

Sources say Miss Valentina was a victim of phone charger electrocution. It was gathered that the victim, unaware of the danger, put a phone charger in her mouth while it was plugged into power and she got electrocuted, which lead to her death.

Miss Valentina will be dearly missed and the entire Faculty of Life Sciences and University of Benin community prays that soul rests peacefully in the bossom of the Lord.
