Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo Olu has expressed profound sorrow over the death of Mr Abdulrahman Lekki, the Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Scholarship Board, who passed away.
The Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu described the death as a “rude shock” and a significant loss for the state, Sanwo-Olu stated his special adviser on Media and publicity Gboyega Akosile, announced that Lekki died in the early hours of October 30th,2024, following a brief illness leaving behind a legacy of dedication to empowering young people through education.
The head of the service expressed condolences, stating, “With total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, we mourn the sudden demise of Mr Abdulrahman Lekki.
Abdulrahman will be greatly missed, particularly by the Lagos State Scholarship Board.
May his soul rest in perfect peace. “Funeral arrangements will be announced later, ” the statement said by the special adviser of the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
