The residents of Hall 2 were caught off guard today as news of a baby found in the hostel spread. The baby, found in a sink in Block D 200 series, was reportedly less than 7 months old and the result of a successful albeit highly dangerous abortion suspected to have been conducted on the hostel grounds.

The dangers of this act cannot be exaggerated. Conducting an abortion without the aid of trained medical personnel has claimed the lives of many before. Though we are grateful that nothing of the sort happened to the unexpected mother, we are at a loss as to her identity. Still, it is advised that the mother in question seek medical care as soon as possible.

The authorities involved have questioned the residents of Hall 2 to shed more light on the incident. Such information has not yet been revealed, but we can only hope for good news.
