The Management of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has categorically denied the recent circulating story alleging that it is actively seeking computer contractors to supply computers to the institution while soliciting gratification to be so appointment. In an official statement, the UNIBEN Management dismissed the rumour as completely baseless and lacking any factual basis.

The University’s Management has urged the public to disregard the unfounded claims, emphasizing that there is no truth to the allegations made. The University has urged caution and vigilance among individuals to avoid falling victim to deceptive schemes orchestrated by scammers.

“Management advises the public to ignore the rumour which is without any iota of truth,” the statement released by the school management stated.

“Management cautions against people falling prey to deception by scammers,” management warned.
