The University of Benin recently concluded its first semester holiday for the 2022/2023 academic session on December 23, 2023. As the academic break draws to a close on January 6, 2024, anticipation mounts for the reopening of all halls of residence on January 7, with full academic activities scheduled to kick off on January 8.
Collaborating seamlessly, the school management and the students union government have diligently prepared for a seamless and harmonious academic calendar this semester.
In a significant stride toward enhancing the university’s infrastructure, the Vice-Chancellor, in collaboration with the school management, has secured a state-of-the-art 7.5MVA ABB transformer. This acquisition aims to guarantee a consistent and uninterrupted power supply, fostering an environment conducive to enhanced learning experiences throughout the institution.
To mark the resumption and create an atmosphere of camaraderie, the Students Union Government’s Director of Socials has orchestrated a lively welcome-back party scheduled for January 20, 2024, at Festus Iyayi Hall, starting at 12 pm. This event aims to usher in all University of Benin students and set the tone for an engaging and spirited semester ahead.
