The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has scheduled its Post UTME (PUTME) and Post Direct Entry (PUDE) Admission Screening Exercises for the 2024/2025 Academic Session. The screenings will take place from Monday, 7th October 2024, to Saturday, 12th October 2024, at designated centres within the Ugbowo Campus.
The screening will be conducted via a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Eligibility for the exercise requires candidates to have applied through JAMB for the 2024/2025 UTME or DIRECT ENTRY, chosen UNIBEN as their First Choice, and scored a minimum of 200 for UTME candidates. Additionally, candidates must have secured at least five credit passes at GCE O/L, SSCE, NECO, or their equivalent in not more than two sittings. These credits must include English Language, Mathematics (if required by the course), and three other relevant subjects.
Candidates are advised to secure a valid email account before commencing the application process.
Application Process:
Applications are to be submitted between 8:00 a.m. on Friday, 16th August 2024, and midnight on Friday, 13th September 2024.
To apply:
1. Visit [www.uniben.edu](http://www.uniben.edu).
2. Access the WAEUP Student Portal.
3. Register for Application by entering your Surname (as on the JAMB Registration Slip) and JAMB Registration number. Your ID and Password will be generated.
4. Log in using the provided credentials.
5. Complete the Application Record with all required details.
6. Pay the application fee of N2,000 using an ATM-enabled card via the “Pay via Remita” option.
7. Review and confirm your details before submitting. No corrections will be allowed after the deadline.
8. Return online on the specified date to print out the acknowledgment slip, which includes the screening schedule.

1. Physical Sciences: Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Physical Sciences, Education – Physical Sciences, Technical Education, Statistics (Pure Science).
2. Life Sciences: Medicine, Dentistry, Basic Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Education – Life Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Home Economics, Veterinary Medicine.
3. Social Sciences: Social Sciences, Education – Social Sciences, Early Childhood Education, Library and Information Science, Guidance and Counseling, Special Education, Adult Education.
4.Management Sciences: Management Sciences, Mathematics & Economics, Estate Management, Statistics, Economics.
5. Arts: Law, Arts, Education – Arts.
Vital Information:
Candidates must check the University website from Friday, 27th September 2024, to confirm their specific screening date, venue, and time. It is mandatory to arrive at the screening centre at least one hour before the scheduled time. Mobile phones and calculators are prohibited.
Candidates must bring the following to the screening centre:
– Acknowledgement slip
– Screening Invitation Slip (containing the screening schedule)
The application portal closes at midnight on Friday, 13th September 2024. Any payments made after this deadline will result in disqualification from the screening.
