On Monday, September 25, 2023, the student union of Obafemi Awolowo University held a crucial meeting with the institution’s management, where they strongly advocated for a 50% reduction in fees. However, the management firmly stated that the new fee structure was essential to maintain the university’s effective operations.
Earlier this month, the authorities of OAU in Ile-Ife, Osun state, unveiled adjustments to the fees that students would need to pay for the upcoming academic session.
Revised Fees for Returning Students:

Following a productive meeting with the Student Union, the university’s management announced these reduced fees on Monday. Additionally, the management emphasized that students could opt to make payments in two equal installments and that the university’s payment portal is now accessible for student use.
