The Law Students’ Association, University of Benin (UNIBEN), has expressed heartfelt condolences over the loss of Mr Innocent Ntada, a 200-level law student and a member of the Class ‘De Jurist’.
In a condolence memo dated 7 December 2024, the Association described Mr Ntada as “a brilliant and promising student” and “a dedicated member of our faculty.” The memo acknowledged his contributions to both the faculty and the Association, stating that he will be “remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.”
The message, signed by the President, Idode Favour, and the Secretary-General, Ogiemudia Divine, assured Mr Ntada’s family of the Association’s thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. “We hope that you find comfort in the cherished memories of Mr Innocent Ntada,” the statement added.
The Association concluded by praying for his soul to rest in peace, emphasising the importance of verifying the seal on the document to ensure its authenticity.
This gesture reflects the collective grief and solidarity of the UNIBEN law student community as they mourn the loss of one of their own.
