Hon. Osagie Bright Nosa (OBN), a member and principal officer and the Chief Whip of the 36th Assembly of the Students’ Union Parliament at the University of Benin, has undertaken notable projects in his faculty and department.
Hon. Osagie Bright Nosa, a student of the Department of Anatomy in the School of Basic Medical Sciences at the University of Benin, has just concluded his final undergraduate examination at the University. Reports have it that on July 14, 2023, he presented a signpost to the office of the Dean of the School of Basic Medical Sciences, which was received by the Assistant Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Adaze B. Enogieru. During the presentation of the signpost, notable personalities within the student community, such as Rt. Hon. Fakorede Ogunjobi (Speaker, 36th Assembly, Students Union), Comr. Iria Ebhodaghe (Immediate past President of the Anatomical Students Society of Nigeria – ASSON, UNIBEN Chapter), Comr. Osasuyi Gift Osagie (Immediate past PRO of Basic Medical Sciences Students Association – BAMSSA, UNIBEN Chapter), Comr. Ekpenisi Abundance (Stakeholder Chairman of BAMSSA), and some highly respected Senators of the 36th Assembly, were present.

Enogieru.Subsequently, on July 17, 2023, Hon. Osagie Bright Nosa (OBN) presented another signpost, this time to the Office of the Head of the Department of Anatomy. Dr. Slyvanus O. Innih, Head of the Department of Anatomy, received the signpost. During this presentation, Hon. Bright was accompanied by Rt. Hon. Fakorede Ogunjobi (Speaker, 36th Assembly, Students Union), Comr. Eze Blessed (Immediate past President of BAMSSA), and Comr. Diego Doherty (President of the Anatomical Students Society of Nigeria – ASSON, UNIBEN Chapter).
Recently, on September 13, 2023, Hon. Osagie Bright Nosa (OBN) once again presented a signboard formally to the Head of the Department of Anatomy. The signboard has been mounted at the entrance of the Medical Complex.
“His dedication to improving the branding and infrastructure of his department and the University as a whole deserves commendation. We look forward to witnessing the positive impact of these projects on the academic experience at UNIBEN,” a student says.
These initiatives by Hon. Osagie Bright Nosa have shown his exceptional dedication to advancing the educational environment within his faculty, department, and the University at large.
