The governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki have shown his appreciation to teachers in the state at the teachers for tech conference for their excellent job.
The teachers for tech conference, held at the Sir Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub in Benin City on Monday June 10,2024. The event was part of the activities lined up to commemorate the 2024 Education Week.
While speaking at the event, Obaseki gave special credit to Edo State teachers for shaping the next generation to take over the world.
“I thank our teachers for embracing technology and other reforms and programmes in the education sector over the past seven and a half years”, Obaseki said.
He also admonished the teachers to vote for continuity in government so as to foster sustainability of ongoing educational reforms.
“The decision we make on the 21st of September, 2024, will determine the sustainability of the reforms in the education sector. We must vote and elect people who mean well for the state and know what to do when they are in charge of the government”, he added.
He concluded by boasting that these educational reforms will improve the education sector. He also reiterated that the future looks very bright for the people of Edo State.
