UNIBEN security agent and owner of FREDOSA PROPERTIES, popularly known as Fredosa, has been dragged by UNIBEN students over the issue of peremptory increase in Hostel rent in Ekosodin and neighbouring communities.

Association of Campus Journalists, UNIBEN Chapter received reports from several students that the “Caretaker Overlord” oversees the affairs of numerous hostels in Ekosodin and has exercised the autocratic right to excessively increase the rent fees even without the notice of the Landlords.

The students are calling on the school authorities to call Fredosa to order and use him as a point of contact to other caretakers in Ekosodin and neighbouring communities. The disquieted students have demanded that house rents be reduced as it is a student environment.
