In a recent memorandum, the Electoral Commission of the University of Benin’s Students Union disclosed details regarding the forthcoming inauguration of the newly elected executives.
Under the leadership of Professor Clement Atewe Ighodaro as Chairman and Joel Isaac Idahor as Secretary, the Electoral Commission conducted elections on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. Alpha King-Lemuel Osahon emerged victorious, securing the position of President-elect to guide the freshly elected executive team.
According to the memorandum signed by the Commission’s Chairman, Professor Clement, the inauguration ceremony is set for Friday, December 1, 2023, commencing at 10:00 A.M sharp. Festus Iyayi Hall has been designated as the venue for this significant event.
All University of Benin students are cordially invited to witness the swearing-in of their newly elected executives. Attendees are requested to be seated at the appointed venue by 9:30 A.M.
