CBN Representative Olayemi Cardoso, on Wednesday, January 24, in his keynote address at the dispatch of the Nigerian Financial Summit Group’s (NESG) Macroeconomic Viewpoint for 2024 in Lagos, indicated that Nigerians will start to see a decrease within the costs of petroleum items.
He included, “Petrol costs will drop due to working refineries in Nigeria. The pump costs of petrol will drop over this year as government and privately-owned refineries start operation.”
The CBN representative estimates a diminishment in petrol costs as consider endeavors are being made to extend and make strides refineries in Nigeria. Whereas Dangote Refinery has as of now commenced generation, the Harbour Harcourt Refinery is anticipated to start generation anytime from presently.
