In the 2023 ranking by United Kingdom- based Times Higher Education (THE), the University of Benin, Edo State, Nigeria, has retained its position as 6th best Nigerian University.
The indicators for performance were centred, again, on the four areas as listed; teaching, research, international engagements, and knowledge transfer.
In an update on Thursday, made available to ACJ UNIBEN by the Public Relations and Protocol Unit of the University of Benin, it was stated that the University is poised for continuing upward climb in the academic ladder of global ranking, with this development.
It was gathered that approximately 1,799 Universities across 104 countries and regions were considered in the ranking.
