Aesthetics is the fundamental principle of beauty and beauty is the ability to look attractive.

This quest to ever remain attractive has been an age long effort of all individuals, organizations and institutions.

It is upon this notion that the leadership of the University of Benin under the watch of Prof. Lilian Salami has banned every form of defamation of school walls and properties.

Recall that the Association of Campus Journalists, University of Benin, had earlier raised an alarm over the incessant destruction of strategic physical structures by the use of posters, stickers, banners in noticeable corners of the institution.

The association wish to use this opportunity to appreciate the Vice Chancellor for her timely intervention.

Therefore, students who are involved in political and religious activities and the entire campus community are hereby directed to desist from further defamation of the school walls and properties as such act henceforth will attract severe penalty.
