Hostilities resume tomorrow in the ongoing VC Cup games with all 8 teams playing consecutive group matches (male category) to secure a quarterfinal berth.

It was drama and excitement galore in the first round of group matches as some teams made a positive, strong start to the tournament. In Group A, Agric defeated Arts, the runners-up of the 2023 five-aside, 2-0. Education stunned Basic Medical Sciences with a 3-0 victory. Meanwhile, in Group B, Management Science suffered a shocking 4-1 loss to Life Science, and in the other game, Social Science lost to Engineering 2-0.

Fireworks continue tomorrow as the teams who suffered defeat in the first round hope to bounce back to winning ways.
