The University of Benin, Benin City, has announced a forthcoming event tagged the “Women’s Leadership Conference,” an inaugural edition to be hosted and convened by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Lilian I. Salami, and Sen. Daisy Danjuma, Chairman of SAPETRO, who will chair the opening ceremony. The theme of the conference is “Finding Your Spark, Breaking Your Boundaries.”
The two-day event will be held from Tuesday, 6th August to Wednesday, 7th August 2024, from 9 am to 3 pm daily. It will feature keynote presentations, interactive sessions, and panel discussions, among others. Notable keynote speakers for the event include Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, OON, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos, and Dr. Joe Abah, OON, DAI’s Country Director for Nigeria. The event will also feature guest speakers from various walks of life.
This landmark event aims to ignite a wave of empowered women leaders ready to make transformative changes in public and private spaces.
