Amidst the backdrop of a two-day warning strike announced by the NLC, which is anticipated to involve the participation of ASUU (Academic Staff Union of University) and other related members, it has been confirmed that a brief strike is slated to occur from September 5th to September 6th, 2023. This development has raised concerns among students and stakeholders, particularly regarding the status of the ongoing second-semester examinations at the University of Benin.
In response to these concerns, the management of the University of Benin has taken a proactive stance, assuring students that the scheduled second-semester examinations will proceed as planned, unaffected by the impending strike. This announcement comes as a relief to the university’s student body, who have been diligently preparing for their exams.
