In the midst of continued demonstrations by students demanding improved living conditions and consistent electricity supply at the University of Benin, anxiety has aggravated following reports of students dismantling road barricades.

Angered by the ongoing impasse and perhaps driven by their frustration, the students aggressively removed the barricades, leading to an intensification of the situation.

This action, occurring amid the backdrop of military presence in the area, underscores the growing chaos and dissatisfaction among the student body.

The unfolding events highlight a critical urgency in the ongoing protests, potentially outlining future developments and responses from both the university administration and governmental authorities.
