The light issue in school, which started due to the increase in electricity bills by BEDC, has escalated, as occupants in the halls of residence express their grievances following the total blackout in most of the halls of residence (Hall 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, and Keystone Hostel) due to faulty generators.
The generator powering Hall 5 hostel broke down today at about 8:30 pm, leaving the hostel occupants devastated by the unfortunate incident. This raised questions among the students regarding the efforts the school management is making to address this electricity issue plaguing the institution, as it was also observed that the generator powering Hall 6, 7, and Keystone Hostel had already broken down previously.
In response to this, the Dean of Students visited the affected halls of residence to sympathise with the students and assure them that the generators would be repaired tomorrow, while the school management works towards resolving the electricity issue with BEDC.
