The National Association of University Students Edo State Campus Monitoring Committee, under the leadership of Comrade Osahon Destiny Eseosa, on Friday, 20 October, 2023, paid a solidarity visit to the University of Benin Bursar, Dr. V.U. Imagbe.
According to a press release issued by the CMC’s Publicity Secretary on Saturday, the team was warmly received by the Bursar. Commending Dr. Imagbe’s consistent support to University of Benin community, the CMC introduced themselves discussed the various initiatives that have been put in place since CMC’s ‘Pace Maker Executives’ assumed office.
“In response to our presentation, the University of Benin Bursar expressed his impression with our team’s approach and leadership ideals, acknowledging that we are positively changing the narrative of unionism. He emphasized the importance of always doing the right thing, seeking diplomatic approaches to conflict resolution, and maintaining open channels of consultation to make informed decisions,” the Press release read in part, highlighting the success of the visit.

The Association extends their gratitude to Dr. V.U. Imagbe for his hospitality and the time he dedicated to their visit. This meeting marks a significant step towards building a harmonious and productive relationship between NAUS Edo CMC and the University of Benin, the communique stressed.
