
The Vice Chancellor, University of Benin Prof Lilian Salami has met behind closed doors with the vigilante team of Ekosodin community.
Prof Salami who was accompanied by an entourage of top UNIBEN officials and security personnels arrived Edo street axis of Ekosodin around 11am today.
Although agenda of the meeting remained undisclosed, intelligence source hinted that it might not be unconnected to security issues in the community.
In a phone chat with our correspondent, Ebby, head of the Ekosodin Vigilante service, Mr Uyi admitted the heavy presence of security operatives in Edo street tonight.
An eyewitness who also spoke with campus journalist, narrated the huge presence of men of vigilante who were cited patrolling the area on motor bikes with cutlasses and guns.
