UNIBEN TO COMMENCE 2024 UTME REGISTRATION

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) is preparing to initiate the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration. The process is scheduled to commence on Monday, January 15th, 2024, at the UNIBEN International ICT Centre, Iyayi Building, starting from 8:00 am and will run until February 24th, 2024.

Registration Procedure for UTME 2024:

If you have not written UTME before or have no profile code, please follow steps 1 to 5 below with the candidate’s phone number:

Open with 2024 e-PIN Payment Process by Candidates:

1. Each candidate must have obtained the NIN as earlier directed by JAMB.

2. The cell phone number used for sending NIN to either 55019 or 66019 is automatically tied to the candidate’s name supplied by NIMC and will be used in all communications related to his/her 2024 Application/ Examination.

3. Write the word ‘NIN’ then space and add your 11-digit NIN number and send to either 55019 or 66019 (e.g., [NIN 00123456789]).

4. After sending a message to either 55019 or 66019, the candidate will receive on his/her phone:
– 10-digit profile code
– Registered name with NIMC
– Total cost for UTME with Mock and without Mock

Example: “Dear Fation Thomas. Your Profile code: 1755133319, and N 44011012124 Wat www.Quick Links, then BASS for Brochure. Buy UTME DE pin with MOCK, N7,700, and without MOCK is N6,200.

5. Receive your UTME profile code and proceed to step 6 below.

But if you wrote UTME earlier or already have a profile code, then do the following:

6. With the Profile code, proceed to UNIBEN ICT Centre, Iyayi building, where you will be guided on what to do next.

7. Please come with your O’ Level Result for scanning if available.

8. Please come with an active email address and create one if you do not have any at present.

9. Go to UNIBEN International ICT Centre for further procedure.

10. Fill out the UTME 2024 Registration form at the ICT Centre.

11. Complete your UTME Registration where your fingers will be scanned and a photograph taken.

Candidates are advised not to send multiple messages to both numbers (55019 or 66019) if an attempt has already been made with one of them. The University urges all eligible candidates to adhere to the specified procedures to ensure a smooth registration process.
