Reported by Ayoola Adeleke

Following the chaos that erupted in Ekosodin community on Sunday night, Vigilante members of the community have shut down University of Benin’s back gate.

According to sources who confided with Association of Campus Journalists, gun shots were heard around the school’s back at 7pm which made residents to scamper for safety.

Although details of the security breakdown has not yet been revealed as efforts by ACJ to reach the Vigilante leader is still ongoing, there are wide speculations that there might be a clash between cultists and Keke drivers in the community.
