The Students’ Electoral Commission has released the list of cleared candidates for the upcoming Students’ Union Government election at the University of Benin scheduled to hold on the 17th of October, 2024.
According to the list released on October 15th, 16 out of 17 candidates screened by the Electoral Commission were cleared. The offices of the Secretary General, Assistant Secretary General, Attorney General, and Director of Welfare stand unopposed according to the released list of cleared candidates.
Below is the list of the cleared candidates and the positions they are contesting for:

Out of the 17 candidates that were screened by the Electoral Commission, Bello Moiza Ozivuje (Law) is the only candidate that wasn’t cleared according to the released list.
