The University of Benin has released the results of the just-concluded Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) and Direct Entry screening exercises for the 2025/2026 academic session. The results have been uploaded to candidates’ individual portal pages.
In a statement released by the Public Relations Officer, Dr. Benedicta Ehanire, the university advised candidates to disregard the “Not Admitted” remark currently displayed on their slips, explaining that the admission exercise has officially begun and will run until 31 October 2025, according to the timetable issued by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The institution further stated that all candidates who obtained a cumulative score of 50 per cent and above are eligible to be considered for admission, in line with JAMB’s guidelines.
The institution added that more details regarding the admission process will be communicated in due course.
