And God said, “Let there be light”. Surely, there was light, beaming in street lamps and light bulbs – by direct modification and not God’s pronouncement.
Still, darkness hovers on the surface of untouched areas of the walls, a barrier between the back of Hall 2 and Faculty of Education remains dark, waiting for their turn to receive God’s decree.
Every case of robbery in Hall 2 often ended with the culprit escaping with ease. Justice might have been blinded by the night making the thieves escape without at least, seizing them by their necks with a good hold to shake them untill they are emptied of their mischief. Maybe one day, there will be light beaming in every area of the hostel to give faces to the thieves masked by the night. Surely ghosts can’t run in fear of being caught by angry female students right?
