The International Studies Student Association announced on Saturday, 29th June, the upcoming Osuobeni Peace Memorial Cup (Ambassador’s Cup). The ISSA will be hosting the football tournament in honour of the late Miss Osuobeni Peace, who was a student of the Department of History and International Studies, University of Benin.
The Ambassador’s Cup is a football tournament held every session to foster unity and cooperation amongst the students of International Studies and Diplomacy. This session, the International Studies Student Association (ISSA) has decided to host the football tournament in blessed memory of the late Miss Peace Osuobeni. Miss Peace Osuobeni was a member of the International Studies and Diplomacy class of 2024, who sadly passed away while she was in 200 level.
The Osuobeni Peace Memorial Football Tournament will be held on the 11th and 12th of July, 2024, at the Synthetic Pitch Sport Complex, UNIBEN, to honour the late Miss Peace Osuobeni. The International Studies Student Association encourages all students from various levels (100-400) to participate in the football tournament. Each football team will engage in a competitive battle for the championship trophy.
The Osuobeni Peace Memorial Football Tournament is a way of remembering and honouring a beloved coursemate and student who was a vibrant figure in the Department of History and International Studies, University of Benin.
