The Students’ Union Electoral Commission has announced an increase in cab fares and shuttle services.
Contained in a memo signed by the Electoral Secretary, Collins Obhiozele, the Students’ Union Electoral Commission presented the adjustments to the fares for on and off-campus transportation services, which will take effect from 1st July 2024.
The cab and shuttle fares within campus have increased to N200 and N100 respectively, while transportation to New Benin and Ring Road will now cost N250. Additionally, “drop” services within the campus will now be N400.
The Students’ Union Electoral Commission reiterates its commitment to student welfare and encourages students to report cases of unauthorized fare increases to the Shuttle Services Committee.
