The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has announced the commencement of sales of forms for the 2025/2026 Inter-Faculty and Inter-Departmental Transfer for both full-time and part-time students.

According to the official statement, interested students are to pay a non-refundable fee of ₦60,000 (Sixty Thousand Naira) through the Remita online payment platform. After generating the Remita printout, applicants are required to visit the Bursary (Cash Office) for payment confirmation and then proceed to the Investment Department, also within the Bursary, where the payment will be converted into an official UNIBEN receipt.

Following this, applicants are to visit the University’s official website — www.uniben.edu — to download the transfer application form. The completed form must be accompanied by the following documents:

– Original UNIBEN receipt of payment

– Photocopy of O’ Level Certificate or Statement of Result

– Passport photograph with a red background

Applicants are advised to make a duplicate copy of the completed form before submission. All completed forms should be submitted to the Directorate of Examination and Students’ Records (Room 25), Ugbowo Campus.

The university emphasised that applicants must make proper enquiries before payment and before filling the forms, as payments are non-refundable.

Students are also reminded that all completed forms should be submitted only to the Directorate of Examination and Students’ Records and not to any Faculty, School, or Department.

However, the university clarified that transfers into the Faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Law, Optometry, Dentistry, and the Department of Microbiology will not be accepted for the 2025/2026 academic session.
