The Ovia Youth Council(OYC) in observance of International Youth Day 2025, is set to host the *Ovia Youth Summit 2025* which is themed “The Foundation”. It is a two-day summit scheduled to be held from August 12th to 13th, 2025. It aims to equip young people with important skills, knowledge and network, needed to promote change in their communities.
The event, with the sub-theme, “Youth Advancing Multilateral Cooperation Through Technology and Partnerships”, seeks to challenge youth to pay attention to building personal growth, business, leadership, and social impact, rather than distractions and shortcuts.
The highlights for the event include: Keynote presentations on health, finance, business, and leadership, Networking and mentorship opportunities, Scholarships and certificates of participation, and lastly, Access to seasoned mentors and industry leaders.
The Convener and Host, Effort Osayogie, stated that the summit is “a launchpad for young dreamers, doers, and builders who are ready to take ownership of their talents, vision, and future.”
The sessions will run daily from 8:00 PM via Google Meet, offering participants across Nigeria and beyond the opportunity to connect and collaborate virtually. Registration is free but compulsory, and interested participants can sign up at bit.ly/oviayouthsummit.
