The Edo State chapter of the National Association of University Students (NAUS), led by Comr. Ogana Praise , paid a visit to the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of the BDPA Division with the aim of fostering collaboration and ensuring the safety of students.

This visit aimed to consolidate the bond between NAUS and the police force, promoting a safe and secure environment for students in Edo State.

Comr. Ogana applauded the efforts of the police force in maintaining law and order, noting their vital role in ensuring students’ safety in the area.

The commitment of the police to protecting students and the community was restated and appreciated by the DPO, who also guaranteed that he would be at the students’ beck and call whenever needed.

The meeting was both productive and innovative, as all involved explored ways to increase cooperation and address pressing security issues.

The meeting emphasised the shared responsibility of creating a safe environment for students. It also set a precedent for a strong partnership between NAUS and the police force in Edo State.
