The TEDxUniversityofBenin is preparing to host one of the most anticipated intellectual gatherings of the year, as it takes centre stage on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Akin Deko Auditorium.

This year’s event, themed “Stand Out Beyond the Obvious”, will bring together influential voices, leaders, entrepreneurs, and creative innovators who have succeeded in their fields and who are willing to share ideas that challenge conventional thinking.

Among the speakers is Hon. Kizito Okpebholo, a Special Adviser to the Edo State Governor on Finance, Investments, and Revenue Generation. He is a seasoned and experienced financial expert and executive.

In addition, Itegboje Daniel, an award-winning documentary filmmaker, will also speak. He focuses on addressing social issues and capturing real-life stories that will resonate with the audience.

The next revealed speaker is Nosa Garrick, a Senior Partner at F.A. Garrick & Co. Nosa is a commercially sharp-witted legal adviser and strategist on intellectual property. Similarly, Khatumi Babatude, another speaker, is a social entrepreneur and business strategist, working where education, migration, and opportunity meet. Also, Kadiri Eseosa Silva (Dulahi), an entrepreneur and influencer, is among the speakers.

Other available speakers include Dr. Osahon Enabulele, Director General of the Dr. Osahon Enabulele Foundation, as well as Pemije Gadimoh, Global Student Chapters Ambassador at KnowTheGlow.

The event organisers asserted that the event will serve as a platform for young people, professionals, and innovators to partake in eye-opening discussions and gain new perspectives and understanding on standing out in a progressively competitive world.

Tickets are available for ₦3,500, and interested students are encouraged to get theirs early to reserve a seat at the event.
