What a beauty skill acquisition is! It really is such a beauty. We are in the 21st Century where being employed alone does not get one the desired life. An era where being talented and smart only, doesn’t get one the desired life either. We are in a time where skills are highly needed in all, where talents need to be mixed with skills to secure a desired job.
No doubt that the essence of skills acquisition in the world cannot be overemphasized.
The rate at which skills acquisition rents the air now is alarming; coupled with the ASUU strike, everyone is trying to be useful somewhere. Time management has been the clarion call in the earliest season of the 21st century. Thus, everyone is trying not to be a resource waster. Even nature applauds that.
However, you don’t just do anything because everyone is doing something. Skills acquisition is attached to purpose too. Skills attached to your career and ambition are what you should do. There are many online courses unique in their ways but not everyone is useful for you, of course, they are lucrative.
Now, take a break from the noise, be calm, re-strategize, checkmate all, pick yours and move on; having in mind that not every good thing is good for you. Know the difference between wants and needs. Don’t be distracted by the noise. Acquiring skills is great and needed but knowing those skills needed for your career, ambition, and purpose fulfillment are the greatest.
