The Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has dissolved the Special Executive Council.
This was contained in a press statement released by his Chief Press Secretary on Wednesday, January 24, 2023. The governor has relieved all Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants of their duties and this development would be effected immediately.
“All members of the cabinet are to immediately hand over to the Permanent Secretaries or the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices.
“All the affected officials are directed to hand over all government properties in their possession.”
The governor thanked the affected officials for their services and contributions to the development of the state.
Recall, Lucky Aiyedatiwa was sworn in as substantive governor of the state on December 27, 2023, upon the passage of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
