Not knowing is not a crime but choosing not to know is a path that leads to destruction. – Adeyinka Taiwo
🎯 Being ignorant is not advised.
🎯The air is hot, you want to take a stroll? Please don’t take night stroll. Better safe than sorry.
🎯 Don’t walk alone in secluded places, either lit or not.
🎯 Mind your speech/actions in gatherings. You never can tell who is who.
🎯 Don’t involve yourself in every conversations.
🎯 Lock your door properly when leaving and when indoors.
🎯 Be sure of who is at the door before opening.
🎯 Have a time legacy: let it be known that at a particular time, you don’t open your door regardless of who is knocking.
🎯 Mind the way you follow friends.
🎯 Ensure you have the school hot lines.
🎯 Don’t just walk, walk with consciousness.
🎯 As hostel brethren, ensure one or two of your roommates know your whereabout.
🎯 When leaving or going on a visit, please let your roommate know where you are going. If possible, drop the number of the person you are going to meet.
🎯 Develop a language code with your friends for emergency cases.
🎯 I want to pee or poo, so I had to go to the toilet that night. It’s late, try not to go alone.
🎯 In times of emergency or trouble, try to keep a cool head.
🎯 Be your self guard. The school security personnel cannot be where you are always.
🎯 Safety is only ensured by God, but please take precautions too.
