The bus drivers of the prestigious University of Benin have pleaded for a consideration of shuttle fee within the campus.

According to the drivers, the #30 service fee is not able to enable them place food on their table.

In an exclusive interview with our correspondent, Francis, one of the drivers complained that the meagre income is not enough to meet their family challenges after #5200 monthly payment to the school management.

They called for a reviewed increase in the price of transport service within the campus community.

Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report, shuttle fee has remained #30 within the school premises, #70 outside the campus and #150 for a private booking to any destination within University of Benin.
