After hours of waiting at the Vice Chancellor’s lodge, the students of the University of Benin seems to be near success in their pursuit for a listening ear.
Our correspondent who was at the VC’s lodge disclosed that the Vice Chancellor, Prof Lilian Salami in company of the Dean of Students Affairs amidst tight security showed up before the massive students at about 2:00pm.

According to our reporter, the Vice Chancellor who is yet to address the students is currently on her to the school’s main gate on security convoy.
It is expected that the Vice Chancellor, Prof Salami would be speaking to the students at the institution’s main gate.
It would be recalled that the students of the University of Benin have taken to the streets and corridors of the University to register their displeasure over they described as inconsiderate hike in school fees by the school management.
The students have vowed not to suspend their agitation until their demand is met.
