Miss Olamide Obagbemileke, a 400-level student in the Department of Economics at Kwara State University (KWASU), received a prestigious appointment to the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms on Thursday.
The University announced this significant appointment via a tweet on Thursday evening, designating Miss Olamide as a Research Assistant and Analyst. She is set to collaborate with the committee for a three-month period and serve as the committee’s Student Ambassador.
Miss Olamide marks the second undergraduate to earn a position on the committee, joining Miss Orire Agbaje, a 400-level student at the University of Ibadan, who was appointed on August 8, 2023.
