The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has apprehended 22 suspects believed to be connected to the murder of Inspector Usang Egbe and suspected involvement in cult activities within the county.
Inspector Usang Egbe was fatally attacked in his residence in Afaha Ube, Uyo, on Wednesday night.
According to a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the State Police Command, Odikon Madcon, the arrests were made between 31st January 2024 and 2nd February 2024, following credible information. Madcon assured that the command would escalate efforts to combat crime and apprehend criminals in the country.
