The parliamentary arm of the Student Union Of University Of Benin has invited the Students Union President, Comrade Lottana Egwu Benjamin and other executive members to appear before the house.
In a memo duely signed by the speaker, RT Hon Benjamin Oyemwense and Clerk, Hon Osarunwense Efe Erasmus, exclusive to Association of Campus Journalists, University of Benin, the lawmakers are to convene tomorrow being Saturday 27th February for the first plenary of the 2019/2020 session.
Top most business of the day is expected to include ratification of working committees, Judicial arm and a review of state of the top most students union in University Of Benin among others.
In an exclusive interview with one of our correspondents, Ebere, the speaker Rt Honorable Benjamin reaffirmed his confidence towards the success of the meeting while pledging that the legislators would continue to work in the interest of the entire students of the prestigious University of Benin.
Meanwhile, at exactly 9am tomorrow, information has it that the executive council led by Comrade Egwu Benjamin would be seated in the legislative chambers for an overview accountability on the state of the union.
Although, this happens to be the first sitting of the chamber for the session, it is crystal clear that tomorrow’s meeting will either make or mar the relationship between the executive and legislative body.
