The football teams of the Department of Educational Foundation, Faculty of Education, University of Benin, on Wednesday, started training ahead of the Faculty Dean’s Cup slated to begin on Monday. The training session was held in the evening hours of the day, not distracting players from their studies.

Speaking with the Public Relations Officer of the Department of Educational Foundation, Comrade Osadolor Divine, he showed faith in the players, citing that most of them already feature for the faculty and university as a whole. He added that the few days of training was to unite and warm the players up for the big competition.

In a communique released by the Director of Sports, NUESA, Comr. Boubouwei Andrew Perez, the opening matches are slated to kick off on Monday, 7th February, 2022.
