The National Association of University Students (NAUS), Edo State chapter, has officially announced the dates for its upcoming convention.
On 12 October 2024, the Convention Planning Committee, through a memo, invited university communities, NAUS stakeholders, and the general public to participate in the event.
The scheduled dates and activities for the upcoming convention are as follows:
13 to 25 October – Collection of interest forms
29 October – Screening of aspirants
30 October – Publication of cleared aspirants
31 October – Arrival of participants
1 November – Accreditation and Convention
2 November – Inauguration and Dinner
3 November – Departure
Student Union Presidents have been urged to collaborate with their respective university managements to ensure necessary support and logistics are in place for university students attending the convention.
This event is expected to be significant, offering a platform for student leaders from various universities in Edo State to engage in leadership discussions, build networks, and witness the inauguration of new union leaders.
