The National Universities Commission (NUC) responsible for promoting quality higher education in Nigeria has introduced new curriculum for universities across the country.

Dr. Chris Maiyaki, acting Executive Secretary of the commission, in a meeting with stakeholders last week, said the new curriculum will begin in September 2023.

According to the acting Executive Secretary of the commission, Dr. Maiyaki, the new curriculum CCMAS would make up 70% of the curriculum and universities decide what to include in the remaining 30%. He added that the implementation will help sharpen the future of the educational sector in the country.

The new curriculum shows that universities in Nigeria will now have 17 faculties and they include the following:
