Dear mother,
the jewel with a million shinning suns,
In the navel of my soul did I hear the screams of my journey to you.
This immortal union severed in birth. I know you still even after death.
The many sacrifices where you gladly lay it all that I may have it all. Mother, how well can I tell this story?
You, a super being closer to God himself. On the altar of selflessness, you bleed daily that I may live off your essence.
Your joy being that I should have a better life no matter what it would cost you.
Those sleepless nights you had trying to hush me to sleep. Those times you cried when I groaned in pain. Those days you went hungry that I may be filled. The many chances you gave me to live.
Then when I’m asked what love is, in one word, I say your name. To every priestess worshipping in this temple of motherhood, Happy mother’s day to you.
Yours truly,
Every Child who loves his mother.
